Small works :: Pear pairing

 A gallery owner had told me years ago: "Pears sell!" In my years in galleries, I find this to be the truth!

 Recently I started looking at still lifes by pastel artists and focused on their edges. Result of the exploration? Work quickly, with aplomb, and have fun playing with the marks and pigment. Take risks. Be messy!
